Morgans bday celebrations 2010 (and a mothers day combo party)

We met the Davis Fam and Mom (Gramma) out at the lake for a combo party---Morgan's birthday and Mother's Day.

It was chilly and the water was frigid, but that didn't keep the kids from swimming:)  First swim of the year for the Seiter boys.

We relaxed by the water- the men did a little fishing.  Then we ate and opened gifts.

Morgan opened his gifts:

The Mother's opened gifts also:

Jeff was messing around with our new camera setting and took this picture-- I included this because it was eerie.

Little Olympics 2010

Matthew was in the 2010 Little Olympics (we teased him and called it "Special Olympics") in which all the Elementary schools in Springdale compete against one another in running events.  Matthew qualified for the 3-legged race and the Obstacle Course.

Young didn't have the greatest performance in the 3-legged race- in fact, they might have come in last place (I'm saving the best for last-- the Obstacle Course).

OOPS!

Like I said, best for last!  Now, the Obstacle Course... Young Elementary won 2nd Place!  The got medals and everything.

And.... he's off...

Heading back

The proud 2nd place team!

It's Great to be Home

I returned from a Business trip to MN after being gone 3 days and 2 nights.  I got home before the kids got home from school, so the house was empty and quiet.  As I took my computer to my office, I saw 4 little notes that had been placed on my desk, where my computer usually resides.

The first 3 notes said "I love you Mom".  The 4th note said "one for every day you've been gone".  They were all written in Noah's handwriting!

It's Great to be home!  Thank you God for blessing me with my family!

Flower Decoration

Noah has loved flowers since he was very young.  He's always been our natural "green thumb" boy-- of course, this tickles Papa!

See the beautiful water arrangement Noah and Taylor created (mostly Noah).  He picked them all from our yard.

Easter 2010

Easter celebration 2010 began with Matthew watching "The Passion" with me and Jeff on Saturday night before Easter.  It was painful for me to see again and I think it was very impactful for Matthew.

To see that happening to our Jesus- almost too much to bear!

After church on Sunday, we all came back to our house for the Annual Egg Hunt.  Papa, Gramma and Miss Connie came to celebrate with us.

Tender-hearted Taylor

I may cry when I write this...

I lost my voice and was feeling rotten, so I was in bed resting when the boys got home from school.  Taylor came into my room and sat next to me and stroked my cheeks and hair.  He snuggled with me for a few minutes, then asked if he could squeeze some fresh orange juice.  I asked him to make enough for his brothers if he was going to make it.

About 15 min. later, he came into my room with a HUGE glass of fresh-squeezed oj.  He made it all for me- it was never intended for him or his brothers.

I almost cried when he brought it to me and realized his intentions from the start.  What a sweet tender heart!  Thank you God for making Tay with such a tender heart- protect it please!

Sledding 2010

Our new camera takes great action shots.  See all the great sledding pictures Jeff took of the boys sledding over a ramp--- most of the pics are in mid-air:
