Family Camp 2009

We had another great year at Family Camp this year! Our cabin was next to the Davis Fam and the Velliquettes.

We spent a lot of our free time with both of those families. On Sunday, we all hiked up the stream and found a place where the kids could swim. The water was FREEZING, but that didn't stop many from swimming!!

The weather didn't cooperate for Plan A on Sunday night, so we ended up moving into the gym and having relays by city. Springdale WON!

Noah made a new friend, Stacey. He looked for her at every break.

Clint is always a big hit with the kids. In the second picture below, 5 families are represented.

Thank you Fellowship K2Town Team for another great camp!

Book Bowl Champions-- Matthew's Team!

Jeff and I made it to the school to see the final round of the Book Bowl between a 4th grade team (Matthew's team) and a 5th grade team.

Of all the PERFECT contests for Matthew Seiter to enter... one that requires you to READ!

Matthew's team made it to the last round and it was a real nail-biter, but his team pulled it off! Yeah Matthew!

Morgan's bday celebration at the lake

Morgan turned 14 today and the Davis fam and Gramma celebrated by camping at the lake. The Seiter's came out to join the celebration.

A family party wouldn't be complete without Jeff and Aunt Cathy arguing about something... in the next couple of clips, they had a difference of opinion regarding the rules for playing Sequence. Look at the confusion on poor Moriah and Noah's faces :)

Below are some clips of the kids favorite part of a party... the FOOD!

Taylors Economics project

Taylor's 2nd grade economics project was due Monday, April 27. Jeff came to the rescue, remembering the most popular thing during Matthew's 2nd grade econ proj--- home-made stress balls!

Students were supposed to spend ~$10 and made 10 items to sell for "scholar dollars"-- fake money they earned by certain behaviors/situations at school.

Below are some pics of Jeff helping get the cornstarch into the balloons (it's totally NOT as easy as it sounds!)

A "Play" by the Crazy Seiter boys

This was one of the most hysterical things the boys have ever done. Tonight (Wed, April 22), it was time for the boys to go to bed. They had been downstairs making a bunch of noise, which is normal.

When we called them up for bed, they said they'd been practicing a "Play" and wanted to perform for us before they went to bed. We thought it was a ploy to stay up (still not convinced otherwise), but it was so funny, I grabbed the video camera.

Be prepared to laugh out loud (LOL)!

Taylor batting for the RockHounds

Dad couldn't be at the beginning of this game, so I video taped Taylor hitting... not too shabby!

Easter Egg Hunt-- Indoors at the Seiter's house

Easter was a very very wet day this year, so after a morning of wonderful celebrations at church, we had an "indoor easter egg hunt" at our house. The Davis fam and Jordan came over to celebrate with us.

Jeff and Kev divided the eggs up and hid some downstairs for the older kids and upstairs for Noah and Moriah.

I was downstairs filming the older kids "descending" on the eggs like vultures. It was all over in a matter of minutes!
