There are many beaches along the Atlantic and they are awesome! Warm water, lots of shells, waves, lot's of flat beach for walking, very warm weather, great ocean breeze, beautiful sunrises and not many people! Can't get much better than that!
We went to 6 or 7 beaches between 2pm Thurs and Saturday night. Also went to St. Augustine and in to Jacksonsville. Fantastic trip!
