Fishing at the River

Some friends of ours from Community Group, the Effirds, have a house on the river past Mountain Home.  Jeff and the boys took off fishing several times during the summer.

Noah and I learned how to cook these trout:

Maine-- Day 3-- It's all about the Lobster!

On Thursday, Dad (Jaybo), Jeff and the boys went out on a lobster boat.  Andi and I were planning a trip to a quaint little Canadian town, but, I realized too late that my passport was in the locked van and I had no key.

But, it turned out to be a great day, because we took a water taxi over to another little island and the weather was warm and lovely.

Tay has his boots on, ready for the day...

While they were doing all that... Andi and I were doing all this:

Selfie as we start on our adventure

I added this one 2x to remind Andi that each time you click the button, it takes a pic :)  I have 12 pics of me on my phone!

Outdoor lunch right on the water

First martini ever (ok it was a lemon-tini so I've been told that doesn't count)

Now the BEST part of the day... EATING the lobster they caught!  13 Lobsters were brought to Dad's house already steamed and ready for us to dig in!

We consumed 6 or 7 of the lobsters this night and Jeff & Dad got the meat out of the rest of them for Lobster rolls the next day!
