The last day of our vacation, we had the First Annual Seiter/Campbell Chopped Championship.

I will let the video speak for itself!

Taylor and Cross Country (XC)

Taylor injured his foot when dropping out of a tree at one of the XC pasta dinners before a race.

He ended up on crutches for a couple of weeks:

Here are some photos from his season:

Senior Center Prom- Taylor

Central Junior High is the school that always works/serves during the Senior Center Prom.  15 9th grade boys are selected each year for this honor and Taylor was chosen.  Herman was thrilled!

A local re-sale store volunteered tuxes for the boys to wear.

Here is Tay getting ready... handsome boy.

Wrestling season around the corner

Jeff purchased wrestling mats so the boys can practice at home (how happy do you think I was about this decision?)

Although you can see they set them up in the living room initially, I was successful in getting the mats moved downstairs! (small victories)

Matt and Taylor are both wrestling for Harber this year.  Can you see them both in this team picture?

Dentist

Due to changing insurance, it has been years since the boys have been to the dentist.  Yay God!  They all 3 had dental appts today and NO CAVITIES!

Taylor turns 15... all he wanted was a "good" hammock

We've already established that "hammock" is a verb these days... the boys go "hammocking".

Taylor had a very inexpensive hammock that Matt gave him as a gift before these boys realized how important having a "good" hammock was to them.

Here is Tay and his buddy, Ben, "hammocking" at the park, with Taylor's cheap little hammock... now, do you see why he HAD to have a "good" hammock? (a little bit of sarcasm)

We got Taylor a Kammok brand hammock for his birthday (much to Matt's dismay, because now Taylor has a better hammock than he does).

Matt's 2nd Homecoming- to Fayetteville's Homecoming

Matt went with a friend that needed a date for her Fayetteville Homecoming.  I don't have pictures of them yet, but he sure looked handsome before he left our house:

Matt- Fall Camp

Senior Fall retreat was held at Point 11 this year.  Matt and his cell group slept like this--- SO GLAD I didn't know about this beforehand.  I am surprised the adult leaders allowed it... and I only say that here because when I say that at home I get an eye roll from someone.

They are scaling trees and securing the hammocks:

Matt is the one on the tree (of course):

How many do you count?  There are SIX hammocks high... wanna take a guess who is in that top hammock?

Yep, you guessed it... Matt Seiter is in the top (6th) hammock.

Matt- Homecoming 2015

Matt asked Miah to Homecoming and he and most of his cell group guys all went together in a large group.

Taylor gets his driver's permit!

AUGH!

I don't know if I'm ready to go through this again?!!!

After he passed his test, he drove us home.  Back to "white-knuckled riding" in my car again!

Matt's first Checking Account/Debit card

We got Matt his first checking account today.  Check out his cool "Har-ber Wildcats" debit card!

Fishing at the River

Some friends of ours from Community Group, the Effirds, have a house on the river past Mountain Home.  Jeff and the boys took off fishing several times during the summer.

Noah and I learned how to cook these trout:

Taylor, always forgetting the sunscreen!
