Taylor has finally made it to 7th grade... and now he is old enough for his first mission trip with the church. It is more of a "service" trip than a mission trip.
All the 7th grade cell groups (girls and boys) and their student and adult leaders drive to Camp Living Stones in Englewood TN. They left this morning from the church around 7am and they will arrive around 11pm tonight.
Basically, they spend the week doing hard manual labor, as they work to get the camp in shape for the season.
Below are some pics taken from the church this morning... Please pray for safety and servant-hearted kids this week!

Jerrilyn's Mom's kind gesture
Jerrilyn and I work together and we have also become friends. She is a mature young lady and I often forget she is just 23 years old!
Her mother send me this basket to thank me for mentoring her daughter. Very kind gesture!
p.s. Jerrilyn and Nick are getting married next month, so there will be more pics of them to come!

Taylor's sweet act of kindness
I had been working late one week and came home to this note from Taylor. He did this in-between getting out of school and going to his Cell group that night.
He made salads for his brothers for dinner, an extra one for me or Jeff and made salads for the next day's lunches!
Notice he signed his full name :)
Love his sweet heart!
