Christmas at the Davis house

Instead of a Christmas play, this year the kids all chose 3 attributes of God and decorated strips of cardboard with their word and presented them to us and explained WHY they chose the attribute.

Wrestling Dec-Rogers- Matt

Matt got a 3rd place medal too.  Unfortunately, we don't have pics of him as he was wrestling the same time as Noah in his first match and his final match was a forfeit.

Wrestling Dec-Rogers- Taylor

Taylor got a 3rd place medal in the tourney.

Hard fought match, but he won!

Glad the win came before this super quick pin!  Tay didn't know what hit him!

Wrestling Dec-Rogers- Noah

Noah had a good day and ended up winning a 4th place medal.

This first match was tough... Noah fought hard from the bottom most of the match.

This second match was a special one because in the previous tournament in Russellville, this boy pinned Noah quickly.  The fact that Noah won this match was a real victory!

Rebecca Holiday Visit 2010

Rebecca came to visit between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, so we had a holiday celebration with her, including a full holiday meal (much to the boys delight!).

To start off the meal, they had GRAVY on their salads!

The chefs...

Herman bought a "Dr. Seuss" tree this year

Thanksgiving 2010

This year it was the Davis' turn to host Thanksgiving.  We had our traditional "Thanksgiving Board", with some beautiful pictures (espec of Cath... hee hee).

Jeff did his usual...

While the women-folk were in the kitchen preparing...

And then it was time for the annual play... this year was impromptu (the adults really still don't know what it was about!)

But it sure did make for some sweet photo opportunities!

And Papa even got in on the action!  Heil Herman!

Josie had her family b-day party after our big meal... see her cute duds below--- Happy 12th B-day Josie!
